Lucas Wade Belliston

I know its about time! We are so excited to finally have our little baby boy here. Luke was born 01-31-11 at 9:44 pm weighing in at 7lbs 13 oz and 20 in long. He is already a month old now and I will try to post more pics, but he was 5 days old in these pics and in the one with Wade holding him , he looks so relaxed because he had just relieved himself all over Wade's arm! We had a good laugh!

I waited so long to be a mom and being a step-mom is an experiance, but being a mommy is awsome, I love it ! Luke is such a blessing to our family, we have been really enjoying him . We just wish he would stop growing. Today he is already started to really coo and smile a little sooo cute. He is so strong , from the time we brought him home from the hospital he was lifting his head and scooting on his blanket from one end to the other, amazing little boy! We love you Luke!

The fun stuff begins

We are adding the fun stuff now, baby furniture and decorations, its been fun. The best part is the piles of baby stuff that have been in the corner of my room now have a place! I washed my first basket of baby clothes, weird how it didn't really seem like much of a chore and I know it wont last long, but the smell of the baby detergent and the joy of folding the" little stuff".

My mom and I spent a day putting together the furniture, except for the crib I saved that for Wade:) It is fun to see it all come together with the bedding and decor. We have been so blessed with great friends and family that have made this really nice for us and our new baby, we are very grateful to everyone for all the help and gifts.

Only 3 weeks left!

Well we are counting down the days, just 3 weeks left until Jr. comes into the world. I was thinking I would start blogging again when the baby comes, but I really should have been updating this the whole time. We have been doing so much to get ready. A baby nursery that is looking amazing, we are so excited how it is turning out thanks to many friends and family. Grandma and Grandpa Winterrose had extra flooring from the Kanosh addition and we are the lucky ones that get to put it in the nursery. With the help of my brother in-law and our friend Greg we are getting the wood floor done. Thanks for your help everyone!

My fabulous mom who was here for almost two weeks did so much for us, helping with the floor, painting, cooking and cleaning. She always make sure all the kids and grand kids have the very best! Love you mom:)

Holo Holo

This was one of those boat excursions, by far one of my favorite things we did. Holo Holo charters in Kauai if you go, look them up. They took us past the Forbidden Islands and some others places I don't remember and cant pronounce anyway. When we reached our destination we got to snorkel and that was amazing out there!
We all took Dramamine so we wouldn't be sick and the kids we so drowsy, they didn't fall asleep until we were headed back, which was a crazy bumpy wet ride, seriously crazy! The waves would come up over us at times, people were throwing up, yeah it was great! Sam fell asleep on a bench in the cabin and I don't know how she didn't fall off the bench it was awesome, like the best roller coaster ever!

Sam's uncle Tyler and uncle Brad were digging to see if the could hit water and when they were done Sam volunteered to get in, she didn't realize it was a bad idea to bury her hands . We had a good time picking on her.

Poor Poor Wade, he thinks we all look like this with snorkeling gear on! He was so much fun on this trip we laughed so hard, he was like one of the kids the whole trip, but it just reminded me of all the reasons why I love him.
